Fundación Cinemateca Nacional de Venezuela restarts its activities

The National Cinemateca Foundation (FCN), a bastion institution in the protection and dissemination of the country's film heritage, resumes its activities in 2026, stressing its commitment to Venezuelan cinema.

On this occasion, we are pleased to announce that the doors of the Documentation and Research Center are open throughout the week, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. This space is designed for the exploration and study of all the documentary material of the seventh art, according to a press release from the foundation.

In the same way, training rooms are taking back the heat of classes, to conclude soon the fifth edition of the Diploma in Conservation and Preservation, which professionalizes new generations in the care of audiovisual material
