With total success, the 2026 Creative Robotics Olympics were held at the facilities of the Museum of Science and Technology (MUCYT), in which more than 130 young talents from the state of Mérida participated, to demonstrate their abilities in the design and programming of technological solutions.
The Foundation for the Development of Science and Technology (FUNDACITE) Mérida, in its account on the social network Instagram, points out that during this qualifying phase, the participants presented projects with real impact in strategic areas: Health and Education; Agriculture and Food and Exploration of hard-to-reach spaces.
The event was attended by the governor of the state of Mérida, Arnaldo Sánchez and part of his government team.
The president of FUNDACITE Mérida, Nathaly Mora, stressed that this event is the fruit of the National Scientific Seed Program, promoting the ingenuity of students from various public institutions who today dream of solutions for the country.
The activity was accompanied by allied institutions such as Cidata, Cenditel, Infocentro and the Museum of Science and Technology, reaffirming the commitment of the Bolivarian Government and the Ministry of Popular Power for Science and Technology (MINCYT), to the formation of the replacement generation.
Stories like those of Diego Ramírez (Team-Racer) and Lucía Andrades (Arqueobots) show us that the future of robotics in Venezuela is already a reality.
