As part of the launch of the National Training Plan “Walking Together”, the team of the Venezuelan Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Drug Use (FUNDAPRET), developed a training day focused on the topic of behavioral addictions, aimed at community facilitators and brigade members.
The activity was part of the initiative promoted by the Misión Negra Hipólita Foundation, aimed at strengthening prevention and training processes for Venezuelan families, promoting practical tools for the early identification of risk factors in communities.
During the day, FUNDAPRET specialists addressed fundamental criteria for the diagnosis of behavioral addictions, as well as their main consequences in the personal, family and social spheres. In addition, the importance of timely preventive intervention and the role of brigade members as information multipliers in their territories were highlighted.
This training space reaffirms the institutional commitment to comprehensive prevention, community support and the promotion of healthy lifestyles, within the framework of public policies aimed at social welfare and the protection of families.
