The Dr. Humberto Fernández-Morán University already has 1,805 students and an academic offer of 13 new technical and scientific careers, said the rector of this study house, Gabriela Jiménez.

During a conversation with students from 14 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean, who will participate in the Antonio José de Sucre International Leadership School, the Minister of Science and Technology pointed out that today Venezuela has a community of 65,000 women and scientists.

“Knowledge management has also become a task of the Venezuelan State and in the plan of the seven transformations of the country, President Nicolás Maduro links the Sixth Transformation to ecosocialism, which is our promise of a civilizational model and to the creation of territorialized science and technology, from the territory,” he stressed.

In addition, according to a press release, she emphasized the gender perspective that governs the construction of knowledge in the country, providing significant data on female participation and affirmed that this reality makes it possible to contribute to the development of inventiveness and technology with a feminist perspective and a dialogue of knowledge that honors Venezuelan roots and identity.
