Gabriela Jiménez: More than 760 research projects are being carried out in the country

More than 760 scientific research projects have been carried out in the country since 2024, said the Minister of Science and Technology, Gabriela Jiménez.

During a working meeting with the Minister of Popular Power for Health, Magaly Gutiérrez, the also vice-president of the sector for Science, Technology and Health indicated that, in this context, technological platforms have been developed in the country for national epidemiological strengthening, the recovery of health spaces and schools, thanks to Bricomiles and the 1×10 of Good Governance.

Also, according to a press release from Myncit, at the above-mentioned meeting, Jiménez mentioned that the “Health Goes to School” Plan allowed more than 5 million services aimed at children and young people, such as immunization, oral health, visual health, deworming, and others.

On the other hand, according to the above-mentioned note, the ministers coordinated the deepening of actions related to the last-generation Missions and Great Missions in the territory, taking as a point of action the more than five thousand communal circuits at the national level. They also evaluated joint actions to implement a series of activity activities within the framework of the Seven Transformations Plan (T7).

Plan 7T, developed through the Consultation, Debate and Action (CDA) process, “represents the road map that will guide government management for the next six years, structured around seven fundamental axes of transformation,” Jiménez explained.
