GDC recovered stretch of highway “Gran Cacique Guaicaipura”

The head of government of Caracas, Nahum Fernández, through his account on the social network Instagram, reported that the team of workers from the “Hollow Hunt Squad” was activated to address the undermining of a sewage pipe, which caused the collapse of four meters deep on the Gran Cacique Guaicaipura highway, entrance to Maternidad, San Juan parish.

He noted that the “Hollow Hunt Squad” team, with the support of the Ministry of People's Power for Transportation and HIDROCAPITAL, carried out the installation work of a new eight-inch pipe.

Subsequently, asphalting was carried out to restore the road to 100%, with filling and compaction.

In this regard, he highlighted the priority of keeping residents informed to ensure their mobility. “The national government, through the Ministry of Transportation, is coordinating efforts to resolve the situation effectively and minimize inconvenience for citizens,” he said.
