The national and regional governments announce that everything is ready for the celebration of the San Sebastian International Fair 2026, with a calendar from Tuesday, January 20 to Friday, January 23.
The government of Táchira “is preparing its best fair, with events that range from the serenade of the Patron Saint to the evenings of bullfighting, the pavilion and the joy of our people. Get ready to experience once again the biggest fair in Venezuela,” says the regional entity's Instagram post.
More than 150 sports, musical and popular art activities are planned for the Fair, a celebration with roots dating back to the late 19th century, combining religious, cultural, bullfighting and commercial traditions, and attracting thousands of national and international visitors.
The so-called Giant Fair of America will have national symbols as its banner. “We have a responsibility to promote what is ours, it is our currency; we don't realize how far we are distancing ourselves from our roots and what this distance has brought is speculation and inflation,” emphasized the Secretary of Government, Jiuvant Huérfano.
