Girardot City Hall advances on the Asphalting Plan in Maracay streets

Mayor Morales announced that in a few months the city center will be at 100% in road terms

More than 350 tons of high-strength asphalt were placed on Carabobo Street in downtown Maracay, as part of the plan to stabilize roads in Girardot.

Mayor Rafael Morales oversaw the application of the material to the roads, together with the president of the municipal Asphalt Plant, Frank Contreras.

During the tour of the works that are progressing at one of the most critical points in the historically denounced center, he pointed out that “we already have a total of 350 tons applied to this street and we will continue to work on an interim basis in the center to stabilize it.”

Morales noted that while watching the placement of folders run and specialized patching with M9 asphalt, formulated to withstand the intense traffic in the area.

He announced that in a few months the city center will be 100% in road terms, thanks to the commitment to apply three thousand tons of asphalt per month to Girardot.

This work is part of the second vertex “Human Cities, Public Services and Infrastructure” of the Homeland Plan of the Seven Great Transformations.

Morales thanked the national president for his support for the Maracayeros. “To thank our president Nicolás Maduro Moros, to Minister Velázquez Araguayán for this great support and to our governor Joana Sánchez, who has been fundamental for us to initiate a serious, responsible asphalting plan, as a single Government in our municipality of Girardot.”
