G/J Hernández Lárez: The FANB will be deployed until August 15 to guarantee peace in the territory

The Strategic Operational Commander, G/J Domingo Hernández Lárez, reiterated the commitment of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to maintaining peace in the country.

In this regard, he explained that the FANB will remain deployed at the national level until August 15 in support of the National Electoral Council (CNE), “we will continue to protect the security of voters and that of citizens, guaranteeing the order, custody, transfer and protection of all electoral material and instruments.”

Hernández specified that the deployment of the FANB for electoral processes consists of three stages: before, during and after the election day,

This is why they are “prepared for the call to guarantee the internal order of the Fatherland, sovereignty and military defense in any corner of our beloved Venezuela”.

He also indicated that the security deployment “surrendered under the principle of territoriality throughout the national territory.”

Finally, he thanked the “collaboration provided by the Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace through all the security agencies that acted with great professionalism with us.”
