GNB seized more than 23 tons of urea in Cojedes

Members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) seized 23 thousand 550 tons of urea at the Citizen Service Post in Taguanes, Cojedes state, reported the National Anti-Drug Superintendency through its Instagram account.

According to the publication, the chemical substance was distributed in 471 bags, weighing 50 kilos each. It was transported without the respective permits issued by the Single National Registry of Controlled Chemical Substance Operators (RESQUIMC).

For this reason, the driver of the gandola carrying the product was apprehended and brought to the order of the Public Ministry (MP).

It is important to highlight that urea is a product used in the agro-industrial sector, which is under control, since it can also be used as a precursor for the production of drugs.
