GNB seizes 976 kilos of drugs in Güiria, Sucre state

Officials from detachment 533 of Zone Command number 53 of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) and the Cacique Cayaurima Rapid Action Combat Unit in Sucre state seized 38 packages containing 1,842 marijuana wrappers.

The drug seized by the aforementioned component attached to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), weighs approximately 976 kilos.

This operation to combat illegal drug trafficking was carried out in the town of Ensenada Cauranta in the Rio Salado Sector, Güiria parish, Valdez municipality in the Sucrense region, while the procedure was notified to the Public Ministry.

It should be noted that this seizure is part of the actions of the Citizen Security System to guarantee the right of the population to live in peace and tranquility, as established by the Great Mission Quadrants for Peace.
