Gobernación de Falcón held the “Embracing Health” medical marathon and treated more than 5,000 people

In a simultaneous care day that covered the 25 municipalities of the entity, the governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark Boscán, executed a comprehensive medical marathon called “Embracing Health” this Friday, July 31, to provide primary care, specialized consultations and surgical interventions to more than 5,000 people.

To guarantee coverage, the Regional Executive activated in parallel 17 operating rooms located in strategic hospitals in the territory, located in the municipalities of Miranda (Coro), Carirubana (Punto Fijo), Dabajuro (Dabajuro), Tocópero (Tocópero), Zamora (Puerto Cumarebo), Silva (Tucacas), Mene Mauroa (Mauroa), Federación (Churuguara) and Los Taques (Judibana), supported by the network of Comprehensive Diagnostic Centers (CDI), clinics and public health clinics doomed.

“Today we were in 15 health centers simultaneously treating more than 5,000 patients, 350 surgeries and more than 1,000 people, including doctors, nurses and support staff, and the entire integrated national, regional, municipal and local government,” Clark said.

The healthcare operation provided a direct response to medium and highly complex pathologies, he stated and added that with the recovered infrastructures they were able to strengthen the healthcare network and thus respond to the requests of the different communities.

For its part, the Single Health Authority, Jean Carlo Sánchez, reported that patients operated on during the day will have due postoperative follow-up and free assignment of pharmacological treatment to ensure their full recovery.
