The Governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, assured that the coastal entity is consolidating itself as one of the main tourist destinations in Venezuela and has to do with security, peace and happiness experienced through the Laugh Program.

From Coral Beach in Caraballeda, he highlighted that more than 2,000 security officers are distributed on all avenues, speeding up traffic in the state. “Today there is a greater influx of seasonal workers than yesterday,” he added.

“Yesterday they reported to me that 500,000 people entered La Guaira, and today we surely surpassed those numbers because so many vehicles are arriving. We have cameras placed at the entrances to the state that counts the number of vehicles and it's impressive,” said Terán.

The Governor indicated that the Laugh Program guarantees physical activity, sports, dance therapy, free dancing, gymkhana, flying, hitting the coconut and others.

He also thanked all of Venezuela, especially the capital region, which is where the largest influx of seasonal workers come from. “Thank you for trusting La Guaira,” he said.

He also thanked the National Government, the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, for having a large amount of resources to ensure that seasonal workers can enjoy these public spaces safely.
