Regarding the work being carried out by the Bolivarian Government to improve public services in the state of Anzoátegui, the governor, Luis José Marcano, led the reinauguration of the “Simón Rodríguez” Sewage Pumping Station in Puerto La Cruz, in the Sotillo municipality.

According to information issued by the Government, this reinauguration meant an investment of close to one million dollars and was carried out through the Ministry of Popular Power for Caribbean Water and Hydrological Care (HYDROCARIBE), in order to provide well-being to the population.

Marcano indicated that this action has a direct impact on the sanitation of Pozuelos Bay, where a large part of Puerto LA Cruz's commerce lives and therefore translates into improvements for economic activities.

He also noted that this reactivation is in addition to other investments that are under development, such as the modernization of the Curaguaro Water Distribution Plant with an investment of close to 4 million dollars. “These are strategic investments that allow people to live well and to advance the great aspiration of the majority of Anzoatiguans, which is full recovery,” he said.
