The government of the state of Anzoátegui reinaugurated the Bolivarian Center for Informatics and Telematics (CBIT) at the Juan Manuel Cajigal New Generation Educational Complex, in Barcelona.

Governor Luis José Marcano, together with Mayor Sugey Herrera, participated in the event along with more than 800 students who recently received electronic kits and computer equipment.

In a press release from the governor of the entity, it was detailed that “thanks to the president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, for continuing to generate tools for our children. Congratulations to all these guys, they are super intelligent and, most importantly, they have the will to train”,

The reactivation of this space, within the framework of the Small Engineers Plan, was possible thanks to the strategic support of the Ministry of People's Power for Science and Technology and FUNDACITE,

Marcano said that the central objective is to consolidate spaces that promote robotics, engineering and technology as pillars of future economic and productive projects for the region.
