In an effort to dignify learning spaces, the Government of Apure State reached the figure of more than two thousand table-chairs delivered to various educational institutions in the entity.
This initiative places special emphasis on schools located in the most remote parishes, which ensures that the benefit reaches areas that are difficult to access, the Government of Apure reported on its Instagram account.
One of the most recent deliveries took place at the Francisco Lazo Martí Educational Complex, in the municipality of San Fernando. This center is a nerve center for training, since it houses both secondary school students and future officials of the National Security University (UNES).
The governor of the entity, Wilmer Rodríguez, reaffirmed that this administration fulfills the promise made to the education sector, “we are not left alone in the capital. We have reached communities such as Boca Apure, La Estacada and Rincón Hondo, parishes that continued to suffer due to lack of furniture. We continue to work for the well-being of students, teachers and representatives.”
He also announced an important breakthrough for the state's school infrastructure: the upcoming opening of two new table and chair factories.
For the beneficiaries, this furniture represents more than just wood and metal; it is a tool for their future. Leoncio Rodríguez, a fourth-year student, expressed his joy, “an uneducated being is an incomplete being. These new chairs provide us with the necessary comfort to study better; it's an achievement we were looking forward to.”
