Government of Aragua advances in the restoration of the road to Choroní affected by the rains

After the landslides last Sunday, on the road to Choroní, through the passage of Tropical Wave 34, the Forest Fire Crews, the Minas Bolívar Autonomous Institute, Vías de Aragua and other competent bodies have been carrying out work to clear the road since kilometer 4.
The information was provided by the governor of the state of Aragua, Karina Carpio, on her account on the social network Instagram, in which she explained that the passage of Tropical Wave 34 through Venezuela affected the public road that connects to Choroní and there were several landslides on the parish road.
In this regard, he highlighted the promptness with which the situation was addressed and at least 230 people who were trapped on the road due to the effects following the passage of the tropical wave through the country.
Carpio specified that there were eight landslides on the road due to the effects of nature, where three of them were large.
He stressed that no material or human damage has been reported and added that from the outset the machinery was deployed to begin the clearing work, with almost 24 hours of uninterrupted work.
He also recognized the work of the Mayor's Office of Girardot and the Unified State Command for Risk Prevention and Management, to restore pace and guarantee peace and tranquility for all Aragüeans.
