Government of Aragua began road campaign to clear Metrobús channels in the state

With the objective of optimizing the next start of operations of the Metrobús Aragua system, the Regional Government activated this Monday, the 26th, a road awareness deployment in Maracay.

The measure establishes the immediate restriction of private vehicles and motorcycles on the exclusive channels of Constitución Avenue, which are strictly reserved for mass transport units, the Government of Aragua reported on its Instagram account.

The Secretary of Transportation, Gabriel Perdomo, explained that the stretch between San Jacinto and Tapa Tapa will have detailed monitoring to ensure that the road remains completely clear during the day.

This measure is essential to ensure the operational efficiency of the service and prevent traffic accidents, allowing the units of the system to carry out their routes without the obstacles that private vehicles and motorcycles usually generate in these road arteries.

On the other hand, it was announced that this urban mobility plan will not be limited only to Constitution Avenue, but will soon be expanded with the addition of new urban, suburban and extra-urban routes.

The central purpose of this initiative is to achieve full integration of the state transport network, facilitating the movement of citizens and modernizing the mobility infrastructure in the main areas of the entity.

The governor of the entity, Joana Sánchez, will soon offer technical details and official announcements about the full scope of this modernization project, designed to transform public transport for the benefit of all Aragüeans.
