The Bolivarian Government, through the mayor's office of the Girardot municipality, inspected the houses in the territory after the earthquakes of last June 24.

In total, 114 buildings with different levels of damage have been evaluated in the city of Maracay, classified in a traffic light system that prioritizes attention according to the severity of the structural damage.

According to the local president, Rafael Morales, of the total number of buildings reported, 19 are at a red light, which means that they cannot be inhabited due to a real and complicated risk to people's safety; the remaining 80% are in yellow, under constant prevention.

In terms of geographical distribution, the parishes with the highest concentration of buildings affected are Las Delicias, Madre María de San José, Andrés Eloy Blanco and José Casanova Godoy, where the largest number of buildings of significant height are concentrated, which generates a seismic vulnerability for all the effects experienced.
