Government of Aragua will inaugurate the Metrobús System with 60 units in a first phase

The Government of Aragua, in coordination with the Ministry of Popular Power for Transport, will inaugurate in the coming days the first phase of the Metrobús System with a total of 60 units, said the sector's Secretary of Transportation, Alexis Zamora.

The new service will cover 11 routes, divided into five urban and six suburban routes, to interconnect the municipalities of Girardot, Mario Briceño Iragorry, Santiago Mariño, Francisco Linares Alcántara, José Ángel Lamas and José Félix Ribas.

Zamora added that the state company has a digitized operating system designed to optimize travel times through defined stops and interconnections between the municipalities served.

He also explained that, to access the service, users will use the Single Electronic Travel System (SUVE) cards, which will be differentiated by color segmentation: the Yellow Card, intended for older adults; the Blue Card, exclusive for students; and the Red, for the general user.
