The government of the Plurinational State of Bolivia, through its Foreign Ministry, expressed in a statement its strong repudiation of the statements made by the far-right president of Argentina, Javier Milei, regarding the economic and political model of President Luis Arce.
“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Plurinational State of Bolivia expresses the strongest repudiation of the offensive comments made by the President of the Argentine Republic Javier Milei on April 14 during the Annual Gala of the Endeavor Foundation in the United States of America,” the statement said.
The Argentine president had said that Bolivia found the “material limit of its socialist model” and that “it is gradually deteriorating”.
Likewise, the Foreign Ministry of Bolivia described it as “paradoxical that those who use terms about other countries omit referring to the profound social crises, growing inequality and institutional violence that exist in their own territories.”
