The governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark, handed over the rehabilitation of the San José de Cocodite pumping station, located in the Falcón municipality of the Paraguaná Peninsula.

Clark explained that the work included the installation of new transformers, general maintenance of two 150 hp pumping equipment, replacement of the starter board, rehabilitation of the 90-cubic meter tank, which change the reality in terms of water in this area, which will once again have piped water service. In addition, the water infrastructure was improved, both internally and externally, with painting, lighting and perimeter fencing.

“We continue to break the spine of the water drought and today he celebrated the people of San José de Cocodite with the delivery of the comprehensive rehabilitation of the pumping station in the area, a work carried out with the support of President Nicolás Maduro, in the context of the 84th anniversary of the birth of the town's singer-songwriter, Ali Primera,” he added.

He added that in an organized manner in conjunction with the National Government and Hidrofalcón, the water supply has been optimized in each of the axes of the state and, in turn, the support with communal water projects in the 25 municipalities of the region.
