Government of Honduras celebrates socialist triumph in Venezuela

The president of Honduras, Xiomara Castro, and her husband Manuel Zelaya, sent congratulations to the Venezuelan people and to President Nicolás Maduro, after the electoral triumph of socialism in this nation.

“Our special Democratic, Socialist and Revolutionary congratulations and greetings to President Nicolás Maduro and the courageous people of Venezuela for their unobjectionable triumph, which reaffirms their sovereignty and the historical legacy of Commander Chávez.

For his part, Manuel Zelaya described the triumph of Nicolás Maduro and the People of Venezuela as unobjectionable. “The proposal for Peace won, with a 7-point advantage,” wrote the former president on his social network.
