The governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, led the inauguration of the police station located in Punta de Mulatos.
According to information issued by the Government, this space was built from scratch in three months and has bedrooms with capacity for eight employees, a bathroom and a living area with kitchen, coffee maker, microwave, dining set, sofa and television.
“This was a module built by the National Police itself. I have seen the police working day and night, painting, fixing, with the logistical support provided by private companies and that we have also provided from the Bolivarian Government headed by our president Nicolás Maduro. We are going to take it as an example to replicate it at other stops in other parishes, to make them more and more beautiful and that the police have better attention,” said Governor Terán.
He concluded by stressing that the Bolivarian Government is making efforts to ensure that civil servants have decent spaces to carry out their tasks of ensuring citizen security.
For his part, Commissioner Michael Palacios, Chief of the La Guaira Parish Police Station, said that an effort has been made to dignify what the police function is in the state of La Guaira.
“Now we have a comfort zone for us to be able to provide the greatest security to the inhabitants of La Guaira and in this way that the police feel at home,” he concluded.
