Government of Mérida began rehabilitation of the operating rooms of the CDI of La Azulita

To strengthen the public health system, Governor Jehyson Guzmán initiated the rehabilitation of the operating rooms of the “Valentín Marquina” Comprehensive Diagnostic Center (CDI), in the Andrés Bello municipality, which will benefit more than 18,000 inhabitants.

The Secretary of Public Services, Marielys Sacipa, explained that the work will be carried out with five precise actions: rehabilitation and painting of the façade of both operating rooms and the adjacent rooms; lighting of all areas; rehabilitation of the air conditioning system through the installation of air conditioners; maintenance of the power plant; installation of a 5.5 hp pump and an 1800 liter tank to stabilize the drinking water system.

In addition, Sacipa reported that the materials were delivered to immediately begin this rehabilitation, which includes: luminaires, paint, cement, cables, air conditioners, and other refractions. This work will be done thanks to the resources approved by President Nicolás Maduro, through the Federal Governing Council, whose execution will be carried out by Construsmérida.

For her part, the head of the community, Margarita Torres, congratulated and thanked the national government for improving the public health system for the people of Azulite.
