Government of Mérida inaugurated FarmMérida headquarters in Palmira

The inauguration was attended by organized members of popular power, street chiefs and UBCH, and the area's political liaison, Silvio Torres.

The director of FarmMérida Socialista, Andrés Rodríguez, announced that they recently inaugurated a headquarters of that agency in the town of Palmira, Justo Briceño municipality of the state of Merida.

“Thanks to the social care policies implemented by Governor Jehyson Guzmán and President Nicolás Maduro, we opened this pharmacy to benefit the inhabitants of that community,” Rodríguez said.

The inauguration was attended by organized members of popular power, street chiefs and UBCH, and the area's political liaison, Silvio Torres.

“In these spaces we are going to deliver medicines free of charge, the only payment we are going to ask them is the recipe or medical report,” explained the director of FarmMérida.

Andrés Rodríguez also said that in the coming days other pharmacies will open to serve vulnerable locations.
