Government of Miranda attends to rupture of the main pipeline of the Taguaza System in Kempis Las Palmitas

The Bolivarian
Government of Miranda is deployed in the
Kempis Las Palmitas sector, responding to the rupture of the main pipeline of the Taguaza System.
The Miranda Water
Secretary, Karol Merchán, specified that the
affected pipe is 66 inches long and “it is already being repaired, with a 30% improvement in the execution
of the work and it is expected that in the next few hours the system will be
repaired at 100 percent.”
According to information issued by the Government, in the face of the event, the prevention and medical care
bodies provided
immediate emergency assistance on the spot.
The official
balance sheet reports three people with minor injuries, who
are already under stable health conditions. With regard to community
infrastructure, the contingency directly affected seven
families.
“
Preliminary evaluations show damage to five residential structures: three houses
with total loss and two with partial damage. Based on the
governmental premise of safeguarding the life and well-being of the people,
affected families already receive comprehensive social support from the competent
authorities,” the Government reported.
In this regard, it became known that “Hidroven engineers and crews are still deployed on the site, who carry out the relevant mechanical evaluations and engineering maneuvers on the fractured section of the main adduction”.
