Government of Miranda provides kitchens and laboratories to 29 schools to strengthen educational quality

With the firm objective of strengthening the learning and eating conditions of the student population, the governor of the state of Miranda, Elio Serrano, led this Thursday, the 16th, the delivery of technical and pedagogical equipment for 29 educational establishments in the entity.
The activity, carried out at the Luis Beltrán Prieto Figueroa Educational Complex, in the Sucre municipality, is part of the comprehensive care policies that the national and regional government deploys to guarantee decent and functional school spaces, the Government of Miranda said in a press release.
During the day, the regional president accompanied by the president of the National School Food Corporation (CNAE), Deputy Minister Willian Gil and the mayor of Sucre, Diógenes Lara, formally delivered high-end kitchen utensils, including freezers, display refrigerators and laboratory kits.
These teams are aimed at optimizing the storage of supplies and the operation of school canteens, ensuring that the School Feeding Program (PAE) has the necessary infrastructure for its proper operation.
Governor Serrano explained that this endowment seeks to strengthen educational quality by guaranteeing not only academic preparation, but also food for students.
“We are extremely grateful to the more than 3,700 mothers and fathers who make up the Fernanda Bolaños Front in Miranda State, who put all their effort and dedication into preparing food for our boys served by the School Feeding Program (PAE),” he said.
Serrano also announced that two trucks with cooling capacity were delivered to transport food to schools with greater freshness.
For his part, Deputy Minister Gil explained that the Ministry of Popular Power for Education has purchased 100 trucks to transport fruits, vegetables and vegetables to educational institutions in the country.
“In the last year, we have increased the supply of supplies to our schools by 90% and, in this way, the quantity and quality of the food that is supplied to our children through the PAE,” he said.
Gil indicated that, throughout the national territory, 536 works are being rehabilitated in parallel in the field of educational infrastructure, which directly benefits more than 2,700,000 Venezuelan students.
For her part, the president of the Fernanda Bolaños Front, Johanna Berroterán, thanked the Bolivarian Government for the endowment; at the same time she assured that they will continue working to guarantee the right to food for Mirandino students.
“Count on the hands and commitment of the men and women of the Fernanda Bolaños Front to continue bringing nutrition to our boys, girls and young people,” he concluded.
