Government of Portugal condemns attack on Venezuelan consulate in Lisbon

The Government of Portugal condemned the attack against the Venezuelan consulate in Lisbon committed this Saturday.

“The Portuguese Government strongly condemns the attack against the Venezuelan consulate in Lisbon. He ordered an immediate reinforcement of security and the corresponding police investigation,” the Portuguese Foreign Ministry said on its social networks, quoted by the Sputnik agency.

The Portuguese Foreign Ministry described the act as “intolerable”, stressing that “the inviolability of diplomatic missions must be respected in all cases”.

As will be recalled, this Saturday, the headquarters of the Venezuelan Consulate in Portugal was attacked by unknown individuals who threw incendiary bombs at the infrastructure, leaving physical damage to the place.
