Within the framework of the National Plan for the Regularization of Land Tenure, a total of 432 agrarian instruments, including award and tenure titles, were awarded this Friday to peasants and small Portuguese producers.

During the activity, Governor Primitivo Cedeño specified that the objective of the delivery is to promote food production and reaffirm the commitment of the Bolivarian Revolution to agrarian justice.

He stressed that Portuguesa is “a productive state wherever you look at it” and hence the commitment to accompany and strengthen support for the primary sector, since it is the peasants and producers “who are responsible for the fact that Portuguesa is the first producer of coffee, the first producer of sugar in Venezuela and the first producer of beans for export”, according to a local press release.
