Government of Zulia and CORPOELEC deliver 150 transformers to the entity

Governor Luis Caldera delivered 150 transformers this Tuesday, April 21, to be installed in different communities in the 21 municipalities of the state of Zulia.

The deployment seeks to replace damaged equipment and optimize electrical service following requests made by People's Power through the VenApp 1x10 Good Governance platform and direct reports made by communities.

The Zulian president explained that management prioritizes three phases of care: first, communities without service due to burned equipment; second, load relief in areas where supply depends on neighboring transformers; and third, the expansion of networks in rural and indigenous communities and new urban areas. With this delivery, more than 4,000 transformers have been replaced in the Zulian entity thanks to a joint effort between the local government and the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC).
