Governments of Venezuela and Mexico sign agreement for the Plan Back to the Fatherland

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, in the framework of the VIII Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which is being held this Friday in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, witnessed the signing of the agreement between Mexico and Venezuela to guarantee the protection of national migrants through the Plan Vuelta a La Patria.
“The comprehensive agreement of the Plan Vuelta a la Patria has just been signed between the government of Mexico and Venezuela, through Mexican Foreign Minister Alicia Bárcena and her Venezuelan counterpart Yván Gil. We are making progress in protecting our compatriots back in Mexico,” said the Head of State.
The Venezuelan president witnessed this act as master of ceremony and after the corresponding protocol and exchange of the signed agreement, he sent his greetings to the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, through the diplomatic representative.
