Governor-elect Luis Caldera: Zulia begins a new phase of peace and reconstruction

The elected governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, emphasized that starting this Tuesday, May 27, for the entity, a new phase full of peace, tireless work and reconstruction begins, which prioritizes the recognition of indigenous peoples and communities in a multicultural state with the right to health, education, housing, among other services.

In that sense, in the act of proclamation and swearing in, Caldera affirmed that this marks a beginning for the recognition of the Communes in the state of Zulia, as well as the strengthening of entrepreneurship and economic activity.

“Today, the prioritization of the right to health, to education, to housing, to the road network begins, which invokes the protection of God and the Virgin of Chiquinquirá,” he said.

He also confirmed that this victory in Zulia guarantees the respect, safety and protection of the fishermen of Lake Maracaibo.

He also said that the Plan of the Seven Transformations (7T), issued by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, together with the Zuliano People, will be present in the entity.

Caldera won the elections held on May 25, with 64.65% of the votes, in which the Great Patriotic Pole Simon Bolivar (GPPSB) won 23 governorships.
