Governor Luis Caldera described indigenous peoples' election day as a beautiful election day

The governor of the state of Zulia, Luis Caldera, described as beautiful the electoral day that is being held in indigenous communities to elect councilors and councilors.

“Grassroots organizations of indigenous peoples and communities today are freely and respecting customs and practices exercising their sovereignty through voting with the election of our indigenous councilors and councilors,” Caldera said after exercising her right to vote.

Caldera highlighted that the communities came out to elect their representatives, demonstrating that in Venezuela there is a participatory, leading and popular democracy.
