Governor Luis José Marcano reinaugurated the Type II Clinic El Pao in Barcelona

Transformed into 100%, the Popular Consultorio Tipo Il Pao in Barcelona was transformed in the Miranda municipality, an infrastructure that was reinaugurated this Saturday, September 21, by the governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano and the mayor of the jurisdiction Ángel Vásquez, within the framework of policies to strengthen the Public Health System.

This action corresponds to the guidelines of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and through the “Anzoátegui Vital” Plan, according to a press release from the Government of the Anzoátegui state.

In this regard, the governor of the entity, Luis José Marcano, said that “this is a reference, an extraordinary example that shows what a popular health office should be like, with a level of quality infrastructure, equipment and human talent willing to serve the people.”

Marcano announced the delivery of an ambulance to the healthcare center in the coming weeks, which will benefit 1,230 inhabitants of the El Pao sectors of Barcelona, El Manguito, Cerro Negro and Las Matas 1 and 2, which are part of the area of influence of the venue.

The rehabilitation of the office, which will provide general medical services, immunization and health programs, included roof replacement, lighting, painting, bathroom renovation, air conditioning, weeding, painting and general beautification, furnishing, and furnishing, as well as the adaptation of the medical residence.
