With the firm objective of consolidating the state of Lara as a national sports power, Governor Luis Reyes Reyes led, together with the first lady, Milagro Flores de Reyes, a series of strategic inspections in various venues in the capital of Larense.

The regional president, focused on optimizing training spaces for youth, has prioritized the technical and logistical rehabilitation of key infrastructures for high performance, the Government of Lara reported on its website.

As the central axis of this deployment, Reyes Reyes oversaw the recovery project on the Domingo López Official Bicicross Track, located in the La Rosaleda residential area of Barquisimeto.

The president of the Lara State Sports Foundation (FUNDELA), Mirian Jiménez, coordinates work that includes not only the maintenance of the track, but also the comprehensive recovery of the facilities and bedrooms.

“Our athletes deserve decent spaces where they can concentrate and raise their competitive level. We are rescuing the bedrooms on the Domingo López track to ensure that the BMX from Larense has the best conditions in the country,” he emphasized.

The working day led by Reyes Reyes included a visit to two other important centers for state sports: the Los Libertadores Sports Center and the Barquisimeto Sports Complex.

In both sites, a technical survey of infrastructure needs was carried out to proceed with their immediate recovery. This tour of the three sports centers reaffirms that the governor's management does not stop in his work to expand physical activity and provide the state with cutting-edge facilities.

With the rehabilitation of these spaces, the Government of Lara ensures that athletes have the necessary institutional support to continue to achieve success on behalf of the entity.
