Governor of Anzoátegui announced the installation of a tomograph at the Dr. Felipe Guevara Rojas Hospital in El Tigre

The governor of the state of Anzoátegui, Luis José Marcano, announced the completion of the installation of a new and modern tomograph at the Dr. Felipe Guevara Rojas Hospital in El Tigre.

According to information issued by the Government, this equipment is computerized with 64 cuts, of high end and quality; and it exceeds 1.5 million dollars and is in addition to those existing in the Dr. Luis Razetti hospitals in Barcelona and Dr. Jesús Angulo Rivas in Anaco.

Marcano indicated that the unit will become operational “to benefit not only residents of the Simón Rodríguez municipality, but also nearby municipalities such as Guanipa, Miranda, Independencia and even areas of other states bordering Anzoátegui.”

The governor also mentioned that this service will serve more than 300 people monthly in its first phase. He also said that 27 young radiologists are being trained to use this tomograph.
