The governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, asserted that the Nora Castañeda International School of Women's Leadership, located in Maracay, represents a symbol of the step forward that Venezuelan women have taken in their preparation and training.

During the opening ceremony of the International School in which she accompanied the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the First Fighter, Cilia Flores, Sánchez said she was very happy because thanks to the Bolivarian Government, what many thought we were not going to achieve in Venezuela is being achieved.

“Today women raise their flag and this space is not only for training, it is for the collective construction of the new model of andragogical transformation because there are no paper tigresses here, here the real leadership of women,” she said.

She also highlighted the participation of the 17,036 Women's Committees formed in the state of Aragua, which are organized under the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement, defined by the governor as the “movement of movements” that brings together all social sectors under the same identity of struggle and independence.

She asserted that women have a great challenge, not only to train us collectively, it is also to advance in communication. “We have to show everything that the Bolivarian Government is doing, because a lot is being done and it's not showing through the media,” he added.
