Governor of Falcón inaugurated Occidental Swimming with the participation of nine states

In the state of Falcón, the Western Regional Swimming Championship was inaugurated, with the participation of representatives from nine states of the country.
The governor of the state of Falcón, Víctor Clark, together with the president of the Falcón State Water Sports Association, Oscar del Moral and the Secretary of State Sports, Jorge Primera, led the opening ceremony that brought together more than 500 athletes of different categories from the “Libertador” Swimming Pool Complex of the University Sports City 500 Years of Choir.
Clark reported that until April 18, the entity welcomes with hospitality and joy athletes who are strengthening the integral growth of mass sports in Venezuela in this discipline, according to a press release from the Government of Falcón.
“Our children are the protagonists to continue to carry Venezuela forward in each of the sports that today unite us in a single feeling, to continue training and promoting new talent in the country,” said the regional president.
He pointed out that investment in sports infrastructure will continue to bear fruit with the development, growth and training of our athletes, as well as the organization of new national championships that confirm the region's place of honor as the epicenter of sport in Venezuela.
