The Governor of Miranda State, Héctor Rodríguez, emphasized that Venezuelans must settle differences in peace, in democracy, by voting and not by hating.

From the Julio Calcaño Educational Unit, located in the Barrio Unión sector, in Petare, Rodríguez assured that people are voting with peace of mind.

He also reported that of the 4000 communities in Miranda state, 15 have presented electricity problems, “we are already in communication with CORPOELEC and the Ministry of Electric Energy to resolve this situation”

He stressed that despite the electrical problems in those communities, the voting centers did not stop working, because the machine has its own battery.

He also indicated that he has been in continuous communication with all State security forces and the report is that the elections are being carried out with complete normality, “there is a lot of calm and it shows that the country does not accept violence as a way of doing politics.”

In that sense, he asked all Venezuelans to continue in peace and that everyone can exercise their right to vote for the option they most like, “for those who have convinced them their ideas, arguments, project and that we respect the results.”

“And starting tomorrow, everyone and everyone will continue to work in peace, to complete the economic recovery, of public services and to continue living together with a single people,” he added.
