Governor of Táchira Freddy Bernal urged the People to defend the Homeland

The governor of the state of Táchira, Freddy Bernal, urged the Venezuelan people to continue defending the Homeland to guarantee peace.

He emphasized that “Venezuela belongs to Venezuelans and we will defend it because we have that constitutional right.”

Bernal highlighted the courage of President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores, who are facing the dignity of the country with honor in the face of the interventionist actions of the Donald Trump administration.

For her part, the deputy to the National Assembly, Iris Valera, stated that “we are on our knees defending the country, we want the return of President Maduro, who was constitutionally elected through the vote.” He recalled that the presidential term extends until 2031.

Both revolutionary leaders agreed that the unity of the People is essential to face imperial aggressions and reiterated their support for President Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores in the defense of national sovereignty.
