Governor Terán: More than 100 schools will be intervened in La Guaira by BRICOMILES

After the review by different experts and the classification with a green label by the Presidential Commission for the Evaluation of Housing and Infrastructure Habitability and the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), work began to recover the John Paul II Educational Unit in the Urimare parish of the state of La Guaira, as part of the care policies for 102 schools of the entity.

The governor of the entity, José Alejandro Terán, explained that the comprehensive recovery of these schools is carried out through the instruction of the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, through the BRICOMILES, with work that began last Monday and whose completion is estimated in five weeks.

Terán announced the addition of 17 additional schools to total 119 schools intervened, and especially highlighted the U.E. John Paul II as one of the largest institutions in the state, where workers from the People's Power, Bolivarian Militias and other organizations participate.

He also highlighted that the commitment for this school consists of its full recovery and timely delivery, so that on September 14, some 832 children who make up the school enrollment will start the academic period 2026-2027 correctly.
