Governor Terán: Plan Venezuela Renace started on day one to deal with emergency caused by earthquakes

This Thursday, August 6, the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, highlighted the leadership and rapid response of the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, after the two earthquakes recorded on June 24, as well as the work within the framework of the Venezuela Renace Plan, which “started from day one to address the emergency.”

In that regard, he affirmed that, from the first hours of the emergency, the Bolivarian Government activated care, rescue and assistance mechanisms to protect affected families.

This was stated on the Paseo de La Marina, in La Guaira, where the president in charge granted a package of financing to businesses and entrepreneurs affected by the recent earthquakes of last June 24.

In addition, Terán recalled that the Venezuela Renace Plan is an initiative aimed at rehabilitating housing, recovering infrastructure and accompanying communities during the recovery process.

He highlighted “the hard work of President Delcy not only with the recovery of structures, but with the recovery of the state of La Guaira in all its areas”.

For her part, the representative of the merchants of the state of La Guaira, Maira Escalona, shared that she has more than 30 years of work in Maiquetía, having moved from informal commerce to formality after being relocated.

He expressed gratitude for receiving funding directly, through the census and the national public bank.
