Continuing the meetings with the country's youth sectors, this Wednesday the HipHop Meeting was held at house Vol.1 with 110 young people from Caracas.
The activity brought together representatives of the 4 elements of HipHop (DJ, MC, B-Boy and Graffiti) at the headquarters of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission in Caracas, where young people demonstrated their artistic talents and exchanged experiences.
The Minister of Popular Power for Youth, Sergio Lotartaro, stressed the need to promote their needs and thus strengthen their own scenarios for their performance.
“Today we have the opportunity to learn what this artistic youth is up to. We have served more than 7 sectors to learn about their specific needs and activity agendas. This time we want to advance the demand of this sector in order to build a joint work route,” he said.
Among the agreements, the projection of the national talent of hip-hop youth in international activities and ensuring that recognized HipHop festivals take place in the country stood out.
In the same way, the president of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, Genesis Garvett, called on the young people of HipHop to follow the path of innovation in musical matters and promote samples of young talent in communities.
Among the participants, Tito, representative of the sector, stated that one of the movement's plans is to unite dance and graffiti as a show of collective participation and body art.
