Under the motto “Our culture is peace”, the Great Mission Viva Venezuela Mi Patria Querida held a cultural day at the Ezequiel Zamora Urban Complex in Ciudad Tiuna, in Caracas, transforming the community environment through art and traditions.
The activity was carried out thanks to the coordination between the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture, the National Music Company, the National Theater Company, the National Museums Foundation and the Art Network, institutions that brought joy and artistic manifestations to the inhabitants of this sector, who have resumed their daily lives after the attack on Venezuela that occurred last January 3rd.
The Minister of Popular Power for Culture, Ernesto Villegas, who accompanied the day, stressed that the Great Viva Venezuela Mission has the fundamental task of accompanying the more than 10,000 families in the community in overcoming this negative experience.
“Now it is our duty to accompany them and accompany them in overcoming that terrible experience and also in incorporating into the positive daily life that children and adults in the community deserve,” he said.
He also explained that these deployments will continue on weekends to become spaces for cultural convergence. “We are going to stand together with the beautiful Venezuelan people to say, under all circumstances, Long Live Venezuela My Dear Homeland!” , he said.
The inhabitants of the sector reaffirmed their support for the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, and the First Combatant, Cilia Flores, after her kidnapping. In addition, the day culminated with performances of Venezuelan music and poetic recitals, where the cultivators present invited unity, peaceful coexistence and the preservation of Venezuelan cultural identity.
