Grandparents and grandmothers from temporary camp enjoyed a musical day in La Guaira

The grandparents of the Santa Eduviges School temporary camp, in La Guaira, enjoyed a musical day with Caribbean and Venezuelan rhythms as part of the program “Story, Sing and Tell”, developed by the group Resaca.
The initiative, framed in the Route of Hope, seeks to provide solidarity and accompaniment to people affected by the seismic events of last June 24, through spaces for encounter, music and dialogue.
The group's singer-songwriter, Benjamín Zambrano, stressed that “singing encourages the soul and encourages life” and noted that the program has been taken to different populations located in temporary camps, under the principle that “Guaireño cares for Guaireño”.
During the activity, grandparents and grandmothers also received rag dolls and cushions made by artisans and artisans from the state of Sucre, who left these presents for the people staying in the camps.
The “Story, Sing and Telling” program has also visited other spaces, such as the Carlos Fiol transitory camp, in Marapa Marina, where people of different ages enjoyed musical performances.
