The Great Movement of Movements, Josefa Joaquina Sánchez, made a statement against the new sanctions imposed by the North American Empire, the European Union and Great Britain, after the swearing in of the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro Moros.
The statement took place in Plaza Bolívar, located in Caracas, where the internationalist and political-social fighter, Lidice Navas, expressed her rejection of all those fascist actions and expressions that threaten the tranquility and calm of the Venezuelan people. He assured that they are the daughters and sons of Bolívar and their revolutionary conscience, which is strengthened in the thinking of Commander Hugo Chávez, and inspired by the liberators and liberators of America.
Navas asserted that spaces are opening up for dialogue, respect, tolerance and peaceful coexistence, in order to maintain peace with social justice, in support of all actions taken by constitutional president Nicolás Maduro and the Bolivarian Government. “We, members of the Josefa Joaquina Sánchez Movement of Movements, as part of the Venezuelan popular power, speak out of respect for the principles of sovereignty, independence and self-determination of the people, who expressed their sovereign will by electing President Nicolás Maduro Moros, the Plan of the Homeland, the Seven Transformations and the popular and democratic decision to advance the strategic vision of building Bolivarian and feminist socialism.”
On the other hand, the member of this movement, Francis Vielma, indicated that all the leaders united to establish a position against new international sanctions and interference; she also affirmed that they support the oath of office of the head of state, who took office for a new presidential term on January 10, and reaffirmed their commitment to peace and national sovereignty.
