The slugger of Navegantes del Magallanes, Renato Núñez, became the first player in the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) to connect two Grand Slams in the same game.

Nuñez drove 8 races out of the 12 with which La Nave defeated Bravos de Margarita in Porlamar.

Núñez's first home run with a full base came in the first inning, in left field setting the score 7-0.

The second Grand Slamsp connected him in the seventh chapter, also in left field, to extend the lead to 12-1.

Navegantes del Magallanes achieved their fourth consecutive victory and is one and a half games away from first place.
