Grito de los Carnivals Touristic 2026 resounded at Yare

To the rhythm of samba and with the colorful nationalist dances, the town of San Francisco de Yare, Simón Bolívar municipality of Miranda state, celebrated the 2026 Carnival Cry, an event that marks the beginning of the 44th edition of these tourist festivities.
The parade started from the red square Monument to the Dancing Devils, and covered the traditional route of floats, stilts, the 2025 sovereigns, mini queens and this year's candidates.
In addition, the day was attended by 15 samba groups and the talent of Yanfras Danzas, Root Nationalist Folklore Dances and Machillanda Dances, who offered a Joropo show.
In this regard, the president of the Organizing Committee of the Yare 2026 Tourist Carnivals, Lisbeth Madera, welcomed this year's festivities and stressed that the carnival celebrations will be an opportunity to celebrate the peace of the peoples of the world.
“More than a carnival cry, this is a cry for peace and union,” he stressed and explained that 11 sectors of the municipality will actively participate in the next parades of floats and troupes.
“We want to send a message of peace and progress. Venezuela is a country of working people who seek union,” he said and added that this event served as a prelude to what will be the official parades where a massive influx of national visitors is expected.
