As part of the strengthening of public services and citizen security, the mayor of the Bolivarian municipality of Guaicaipura, Farith Fraija, announced the receipt of a shipment of 4,500 luminaires with LED technology from the People's Republic of China. This important batch of supplies will be immediately deployed in the seven parishes of the capital of Miranda.
The local president stressed that this acquisition is part of the strategic agreements for international cooperation and of the commitment made to transform Guaicaipura into a modern, illuminated and safe Capital City.
During his statement, Fraija explained that the installation plan will not only cover the main avenues, but will have a special focus on communities and neighborhoods that have requested improvements through citizen participation mechanisms.
“We are receiving these 4,500 luminaires, which represent a qualitative leap in the attention given to our services. It's not just about light bulbs, it's safety for the neighbor who's late to work, it's well-being for our children and it's the fulfillment of a committed word with the people of Guaicaipura,” said the mayor.
Energy efficiency and safety
The implementation of this LED technology will allow the municipality to: Reduce electricity consumption: Optimizing energy use in public lighting. Strengthen security: Better illuminated streets facilitate the monitoring of the Guaicaipura SOS system.
Finally, Mayor Farith Fraija reported that the Serviguaicaipura crews are already deployed, starting the replacement and placement days at critical points previously diagnosed by the technical energy tables in each community. “We continue to work efficiently to consolidate the good life of all Guaicaipurenos,” he said.
